Mark and Andrea

Mark - Fun Fact #1

Mark started running when he was 14 and by the age of 16 had given up.  After some University good life, he came back to running at 20 and went on the represent New Zealand twice at the World Student Games.

Andrea - Fun Fact #1

Andrea has coached an athlete to the 2009 World Mountain Running Championships in Italy.  Rochelle finished 37th and went on to an American Scholarship to George Mason University she attained in her last year at school.

Mark - Fun Fact #2

Tena Koutou Katoa, Ko Ngai Tahu Te Iwi, Ko Charlotte Raua, Ko Lilly Aku Tamahine.

I am of Ngai Tahu descent and have two girls Charlotte and Lilly

Andrea - Fun Fact #2

Andrea has a major passion to run the 2000m Steeplechase. Very few know that in 2014 Andrea was ranked 4th and in 2015 she was ranked 9th in the world. Andrea has also represented New Zealand six times.

Mark - Fun Fact #3

In Marks life time he has only ever won 7 medals and the highest accolade was a bronze medal at the 1983 Colgate Games.  His most treasured medal however is the one he was awarded for completing the New York Marathon in 2008.

Andrea - Fun Fact #3

Andrea was born and bred in the Hawkes Bay (Havelock North to be precise).  Her family still lives there, but when she shifted to Masterton, it was the first time she had ever lived outside of the Bay.
